Ph.D. from the Department of Art and Architectural History, The Graduate Center, CUNY

I am an art and architectural historian of the late nineteenth- and early twentieth- century United States. My work examines the relationships between charity, benevolence, and the built environment between the Reconstruction and Progressive Eras.

I am particularly passionate about translating my research to larger audiences through teaching, museum work, and public history.
